ERASMUS +    STEPS TO 2030 WORLD-TEACHING ABOUT 17 UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS   A.s. 2018/2019 e 2019/2020

The world is changing and schools should change too. The European countries participating in this project are: Slovenia (coordinating school), Germany, Italy, Holland and Croatia.

We are in the technology and neoliberalism era, but even so-we can still claim, that general values as environmental protection, civil rights and stable economic development are important and should be spread among students with the responsible use of new technologies. According European commission document "Developing Key Competences at School in Europe" from 2012, urgent measures in education to improve students’ competences must be taken! Teachers need to improve their teaching skills as well. These are the topics of this project.

The teachers in the project

Students will be guided in classrooms & outdoors activities to internalize some of the 17 sustainable development goals (further SDGs). The first objective of the project is a better knowledge about 17 UN sustainable goals and raising interest for world issues among students and teachers. The second one is developing teaching skills (new teachingmethods) adapted to modern schools in 21st century and also work on multiculturality as better understanding of different cultures is important and needed more and more,

Raising EU idea is also an important objective, as xy-exit (as Brexit) can happen again. In the project students and teachers will improve their level of using ICT by constant use. At each mobility the European Year of Cultural Heritage will be highlighted  so that students can understand the importance of the cultural heritage its richness and diversity of cultures by visiting historical sites and events (Matera - European Capital of Culture 2019) using new teaching approach that involve them.

Il mondo sta cambiando e anche le scuole dovrebbero cambiare. I Paesi europei che partecipano a questo progetto sono: Slovenia (scuola coordinatrice), Germania, Italia, Olanda e Croazia.

Siamo nell'era della tecnologia e del neoliberismo, ma possiamo ancora affermare che i valori generali come protezione dell'ambiente, diritti civili e sviluppo economico stabile sono importanti e dovrebbero essere diffusi tra gli studenti anche mediante l'uso responsabile delle nuove tecnologie. Secondo il documento della Commissione europea "Sviluppare competenze chiave a scuola in Europa" dal 2012, devono essere adottate misure urgenti in materia di istruzione per migliorare le competenze degli studenti! Gli insegnanti devono anche migliorare le loro capacità di insegnamento. Questi sono gli argomenti di questo progetto.

Gli studenti saranno guidati in attività sia in aule che all'aperto per interiorizzare alcuni dei 17 obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile (ulteriori SDG). Il primo scopo del progetto è una migliore conoscenza dei 17 obiettivi sostenibili ONU e un crescente interesse tra studenti e insegnanti per i problemi mondiali . Il secondo scopo è sviluppare le capacità di insegnamento attraverso nuovi metodi di insegnamento e adattarle alle scuole moderne del 21° secolo, sarà fondamentale anche lavorare sulla multiculturalità, poiché una migliore comprensione delle diverse culture è importante e sempre più necessaria.

Nel progetto, studenti e insegnanti miglioreranno il loro livello di utilizzo delle TIC mediante un uso costante della tecnologia. Ad ogni incontro, sarà dedicato del tempo all'Anno europeo dei beni culturali, in modo che gli studenti possano comprendere l'importanza del patrimonio culturale, della sua ricchezza e diversità di culture, saranno visitati siti ed eventi storici (Matera - Capitale europea della cultura 2019).
